"Down in The Zero" "Down in The Zero" by Sugardope (mp3) Sugardope is a four-piece rock band from Oslo who have been playing together for six years, and are tearing up the rock scene in Norway. They describe their music as "influenced or inspired by Andrew Vachss' work and writings," most especially their song, "Down in the Zero." The lyrics were written after reading Dead and Gone, where Burke is up in the mountains with Lupe contemplating how an abused kid can feel when society does nothing about what was done to that child, but comes down hard when the child decides to retaliate, or get even.
