Justice for Children, the leading national advocacy organization for abused and neglected children, honored Andrew Vachss with its first annual Harvey R. Houck Jr. Award for Outstanding Service to Children on March 28, 2003. The presentation was made at JFC’s 15th anniversary gala, in Houston, Texas.

Andrew Vachss was honored with the Raymond Chandler Literary Award in Courmayer, Italy, at the 2000 Noir in Festival.
