Cooter works better than the Weather Channel—when he runs and hides under the stairs, you know there's gonna be a storm.

That's because when he was a puppy, he almost got shocked by lightning.

But that's the only thing he's afraid of, and only because he can't sink his teeth into it!

He is a family dog and gets along great with all the family's animals, even the gerbils.

Cooter is pure bred, black German shepherd—the Lansdales got him from a breeder outside Nacogdoches.
