Man busted for allegedly kidnapping 15-year-old girl and forcing her into prostitution in Queens
" A 15-year-old girl was kidnapped for four months by a 24-year-old man who pimped her out from inside a senior affordable housing unit affiliated with a prominent Queens church, prosecutors said.
The teen was allegedly forced to become a prostitute by Joseph Gilbert, who was indicted Thursday on kidnapping charges.
The girl was held captive at the Greater Allen Cathedral Senior Residence in Jamaica, Queens."

"ARAPAHOE COUNTY - A man convicted of sexually exploiting women as a pimp will spend the rest of his life – and then some – in prison.
In a sentencing hearing Tuesday afternoon, Arapahoe County Judge Peter F. Michaelson sentenced the man found guilty of running a child prostitution ring to 472 years in prison.
That is more than four times the minimum required sentence - and the largest sentence brought down for a human trafficking case in the country."

"NEW RIVER, Ariz. (KSAZ) - A mother in New River is accused of molesting two young children, filming the incidents, and selling them over the internet.
According to court documents, Keri Harwood, 28, is accused of molesting two children multiple times in the bathroom of her New River home. Harwood is also accused of videotaping the incidents and selling them over the internet.
Harwood is reportedly facing 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, as well as five counts of molestation of a child."

" Two Queens men who kidnapped, raped and prostituted a 14-year-old girl have been sentenced to prison.
Supreme Court Justice Stephanie Zaro on Wednesday sentenced Differson Legrand to 7 to 13 years in prison and Chilo Petit to 12 1/3 to 17 years behind bars. A jury convicted the men in August of second-degree kidnapping, second-degree rape and third-degree promoting prostitution."

New Jersey woman admits forcing 16-year-old into 'hellish life of sexual slavery'
"A New Jersey woman who went by the nickname "China White" pleaded guilty Wednesday to forcing a 16-year-old girl from New York into prostitution, officials said.
Jessica Copeland, 29, pleaded guilty to second-degree facilitating human trafficking, N.J. Attorney General Christopher S. Porrino said in a news release.
Under the plea agreement, prosecutors will recommend that Copeland be sentenced to six years in state prison, including no parole for three years."
